New Approach

New Approach retired to Darley's Dalham Hall Stud in Newmarket as an unbeaten champion two year old and Epsom Derby winner with a superb  pedigree to make it as a future sire. New Approach was the winner of four Group one races he ran 11 times with eight wins four at Group one level New Approach was never out of the frame in all his starts finishing runner up in both the Eng/Ire 2,000 guineas to HenryTheNavigator and third in the Juddmonte International to Duke Of Marmalade those were his only defeats.
New Approach is by the hottest sire in the world Galileo he is out of champion mare Park Express, a winner of five races from 2-3 years including The Irish Champion Stakes Group one, the Nassau back then it was a Group two and the Group three Lancashire Oaks she was second in the Yorkshire Oaks and third in the champion stakes at Newmarket, a race her son would eventually win and also break the track record.

Park Express brought her talent to the breeding shed among her progeny are Alluring Park , Dazzling Park ,  these mares turned out to be outstanding broodmares with Alluring Park producing Was also by Galileo she was the winner of the 2012 Epsom Oaks, Dazzling Park is the grand dam of champion two year old Alfred Noble, among Park Express's other colt's was Shinko Forest a top class horse in Japan and later a successful sire.

New Approach's 2nd dam is Matcher she is the grand dam of Australian Group two winner Forest Express and also to German champion Waky Nao. His 3rd dam Lachine produced one blacktype winner Quick Selection though she is the dam of US Graded winners Charge My Account and Miss Audimar, Miss Audimar later produced Group two Voltigeur Stakes winner Bandari.

This impeccable list of breeding was enough to secure New Approach with a decent shot at stud, he was given every chance with his first foals being the offspring of 95 stakes winners/producers his first yearlings auctioned in 2011 made some top prices including E200,000, £160,000 £135,000, £120,000, £125,000 etc.

New Approach has got off to a tremendous start at stud producing unbeaten Group one winning and now classic winner Dawn Approach, he also produced three Ascot stakes winners with his juveniles  the first sire ever to accomplish that feat, among his other smart juveniles were Newfangled who looked a top class filly before sadly having to be put down. New Approach has been well received in Australia where he has supplied some stakes winners he looks a force to be reckoned with.

New Approach has sired two stakes winners so far with his first classic crop when today his daughter Talent won the Listed Pretty Polly stakes.

New Approach will cover a fantastic book of mares this season already in foal is Coronation Stakes winner Fallen For You as well as unbeaten two year old filly Lyric Of Light and outstanding producer Zarkasha the dam of champion filly Zarkava.

With the classic season just under way it will be interesting to see how other New Approach progeny will fare but there is no denying that this is a serious quality and potentially very exciting young sire
